What to prepare

Steps

  1. Use an official NHIA or provider entry point to confirm the location, department, service hours, and whether the provider is NHI-contracted.

  2. When booking or registering, ask which identification and NHI card are needed and whether self-paid arrangements may apply. If you are not enrolled or the card cannot be used, confirm payment and documentation first.

  3. During the visit, describe symptom timing, medication, and allergies clearly. Never upload a full medical record or identity document to the game.

  4. Before agreeing to an examination, treatment, or self-paid item, ask the provider to explain its purpose, cost, and alternatives. Ask again when something is unclear.

  5. Before leaving, confirm medication names and directions, follow-up or referral plans, receipts, and any documents you should keep.

  6. If you believe the situation may be an emergency, do not wait for the game to decide; use official emergency medical services immediately.

Every step has its own link, so a single step can be shared.
